A new situation for the club was introduced in 2002 for the following club year. For the first time, there were co-presidents: Sandra Langston and Catherine Anderson. Their theme was "Walking the Extra Mile," encouraging members to work in projects across department lines.

 

The art department continued to sponsor Spring into Art and projects at Camp Promise and also to decorate the Hi-Hope Dance.

 

The education department continued high school and Gwinnett Tech scholarships. Scholarship winners were honored at the May meeting. Students were given HOBY scholarships and some members helped at the HOBY summer leadership camp site.

Public Affairs worked to get flags honoring veterans for the city to display on city streets. They also cleaned up an old cemetery at Killian Hill Road. Relay for Life DFACS projects, community beautification, Heifer International, CARE, The Carter Center, Operation Smile and UNICEF projects continued.

Members of the club were invited to play BINGO as a monthly social. Lilburn Daze included antiques area a new interest.
