GFWC Georgia Day of Service
GFWC Georgia held the Day of Service (DOS) project on April 27 in conjunction with the GFWC Volunteers in Action Week. The purpose of the Day of Service was to be a visible, unified force in our state through work done in the local communities. Members collected toiletry items for our local women's shelters.

The Dictionary Project
LWC challenged themselves and other local civic groups to meet the goal of providing a student dictionary to every third grader attending a Lilburn public elementary school.
Thanks to our partners the Lilburn Lions Club, Lilburn Downtown Development Authority, Sweetwater Masonic Lodge, Atlanta Northlake Elks, Evergreen Senior Club, Lilburn Business Association and The Dictionary Project management team – WE DID IT! 1415 dictionaries were delivered during the 2019 school year.

LWC is proud to host the Hi-Hope Dance each June.
Hi-Hope Service Center provides quality services that empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to define and live a meaning life.
Our 29th dance's theme was the South Seas.
Little Free Library
Each Friday in June, July and August, LWC members can be found
at the Little Free Library booth at the Lilburn Farmers Market.
The booth is filled with donated books for all ages and genres.
Kids of all ages love getting new summer reading material
and members are able to connect with the community
sharing about the club.
