Lilburn Mayor Crist presents a proclamation
declaring April Child Abuse Prevention Month
to Nancy Chilcoat and Linda Newton.
Domestic Violence hosted a drive to Stop Infant Deaths from Unsafe Sleeping Practices. Bookmarks were displayed & given away at Lilburn libraries, DFCS meetings, and at doctor's offices.
Domestic Violence provides birthday cakes and decorations for the women at the Safe House. Pretty gift sets created by Carolyn Havens were presented to all the women at the Safe House for Mother's Day.
Linda Newton & Pat Swan attended the
PADV's Teen Summit seminar.
Domestic Violence created Pinwheel Gardens at Lilburn City Park at Easter and at a White Elephant Sale. Pinwheel gardens represent our effort to focus on community activities that support families and public policies that prioritize prevention right from the start to make sure child abuse and neglect never occur.

Domestic Violence has a team who goes to the Safe House once a month to read and do crafts with the children. Nancy Chilcoat and Diane Aube show some of the books that are read and the Mother's Day cards that were made.
