In November 1972 ten women, concerned about the needs of their community, met and organized a club that has become the Lilburn Woman's Club (LWC).  Today the Club has more than 50 members.  With a theme of "Community Concern," the Lilburn Woman's Club received its charter from the Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs (GaFWC) in March 1973 and its charter from the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) in January 1974.

LWC follows the guidelines of GFWC and GaFWC to enrich our local and global communities in the following six Community Service Programs:

  • Arts
  • Conservation
  • Education
  • Home Life
  • International Outreach
  • Public Issues

  Why Join Lilburn Woman's Club?

You will have the opportunity to work with other women to      improve the social, cultural and physical needs in your          community.  You will make new friends, gain knowledge,
and become a better citizen.  You will grow as a person in leadership and will bring new interests into your home.

Much more can be accomplished when there are many         working together with the same interest than when trying to act as an individual.

Members are encouraged to select a "program of work"     which interests them.  There is something for everyone who   becomes a member of the Lilburn Woman's Club.
Lilburn Woman's Club and the City of Lilburn co-sponsor Lilburn Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, which occurs annually on the second Saturday in October.

Attention:  Women Over 55
Being a woman over age 55 is one of the risk factors for heart disease that you can't change.  Since age isn't under your control, it's more vital than ever to make heart disease prevention a priority and follow a healthy lifestyle.  In that way, you can do your best to lower all risks that can be controlled.
Exercise regularly, control your weight, manage high blood pressure, control cholesterol, manage diabetes, quit smoking, eat right, control stress, and discuss hormone therapy with your doctor.
