Promotes Arts in the Community with annual Spring Into Art Show for elementary schools; Lilburn Idol Contest in City Park; Lilburn Daze Arts and Crafts Festival; volunteer opportunities and activities at the Hudgens Center for Arts. 

Encourages artistic expression through Member and Youth contests in photography, painting, poetry and short story. 

Supports various performing arts groups in the community.

Conservation

Focuses on beautification and resource conservation through projects such as the Healing Garden in Lilburn City Park, Tree USA Certification for City of Lilburn, and the Greenway Trail.

Educates members and others about recycling, composting, and environmental awareness.

Maintains native plants at Lilburn's historic Wynne Russell House.
Education

Mentors in local schools, provides support for public and school libraries, promotes reading to Club members and the community, promotes lifelong learning in the Club and the Community. 

Provides books to children at Lilburn Daze.

Awards scholarships to a rising female high school senior and Gwinnett Technical College.
    
  Lilburn Woman's Club - Community Service Programs

Home Life

Shares information with Club members and the community regarding women's health issues, maintaining healthy lifestyles, financial planning, and identity theft.

Provides meals at Hope Lodge for cancer survivors.  Hosts annual dance at Hi-Hope Center for mentally and physicaly challenged adults.  Provides volunteer hours and financial support for Lilburn Co-Op and other non-profit organizations.

Purchases Christmas gifts for needy families in the community.
International Outreach

Promotes a better understanding and acceptance of all people and cultures through advocacy, education, and action.

Reaches out internationally through financial support of projects such as Heifer International, Samaritan's Purse, Doctors Without Borders, CARE, Malaria No More, UNICEF, and the Carter Center's Privy Project.

Supports Honduras Outreach through volunteer hours, and providing items such as over the counter medicines, vitamins, hygiene items, and children's toys.


Public Issues

Projects forcus on fostering civic involvement, the importance of voting, and increasing safety for all ages in the home, community, and on the highway.

Co-Sponsors Veterans Day and Memorial Day celebrations in Lilburn City Park and provides an annual Bike Safety program. 

Provides education and information on legislative and safety issues for women and children.  Reminds members to change batteries in smoke detectors, provides fire safety information, and coordinates self-defense and CPR classes.  Collects snack items and mails packages to active military personnel overseas.
