Lilburn Cooks:  A Centennial Celebration

To commemorate Lilburn's Centennial in 2010, members of the Lilburn Woman's Club have compiled a collection of recipes, some old family favorites and some brand new.  In the cookbook, you will find family recipes for chess pies, frozen fruit salads, casseroles, and the latest in corn and salsa dips; you can even find a recipe for finger paint, play dough, or dog biscuits.  Recipes are included from neighborhood gatherings, holiday celebrations with friends and family, dinner clubs, and bridge groups.  Each recipe reflects the love of good cooking and dining together with loved ones.  Included are stories about the recipes and the people who made them special.  The cookbook featues a glimpse into Lilburn's past, photos of the first settlers and early residents, and information on some of Lilburn's historic landmarks.

Purchase this special hardcover cookbook with 450 favorite recipes from the best cooks in Lilburn for $20.  Get one for yourself and more for gifts.  Proceeds of cookbook sales will benefit charitable projects in the community.  Lilburn Woman's Club projects enrich our local and global communities through six Community Service Programs:  Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues.  Books are available from any Club member and at the following Lilburn shops:
